General Hospital Spoilers: Monica Races To Hospital – Is There An Emergency With Oscar?

General Hospital Spoilers: Dr. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) General Hospital spoilers tease that Dr. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) will be unexpectedly called back to work in the midst of her former foster mother and mentor Dr. Gail Adamson Baldwin’s (Susan Brown) final celebration. Might there be an emergency with her grandson Oscar Nero (Garren Lake Stitt)?

As General Hospital viewers know, his parents Drew Cain (Billy Miller) and Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) were given terrible news by Oscar’s pediatric oncologist, Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James).

Oscar could only have a couple of weeks left, and they were told that last week. Considering that, General Hospital viewers wouldn’t be surprised if Monica’s emergency has to do with Oscar.

General Hospital Spoilers – Palliative Care Only Option For Oscar Nero?

Monica discussed palliative, end of life care for Oscar with Drew and Kim on the March 28 episode. She offered to set up a hospice like setting for Oscar in the Quartermaine mansion, with room for Kim to move in also. Drew, of course, already lives there.

For those General Hospital viewers who are not familiar with palliative care, it’s basically just trying to make a dying patient more comfortable. This can be through painkillers, therapy animals, or whatever helps them. It is done when all other options to sustain life have been exhausted and death is imminent.

Other General Hospital spoilers say both Drew and Kim will receive devastating news soon, so that is likely to mean that Oscar’s death will come within a couple of weeks.

General Hospital Spoilers – Have Writers Decided To Kill Off The Character?

This, of course is nothing for either General Hospital fans, Monica, Drew, Kim, or Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to look forward to. But unfortunately it would seem that the GH writers have chosen to kill Oscar off instead of recasting him.

Many General Hospital viewers are comparing the teenage romance of Oscar Nero and Josslyn Jacks to that of Stone Cates (Michael Sutton) and Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) years ago.

The difference being Stone died of AIDS instead of a brain tumor. They also had a chance to take their relationship to the next level, unlike Joss and Oscar.
