General Hospital Spoilers Friday, May 17: Nurses Ball Kicks Off – Ava Awaits Ryan’s Arrival – Laura And Curtis Held Captive

“General Hospital” spoilers for Friday, May 17, tease that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will officially kick off the Nurses Ball. She’ll share her enthusiasm with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) before mixing and mingling on the red carpet. Later, Lucy and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will team up for some trouble. She’ll tell Scott he knows what to do, so their plan will be set in motion.

Speaking of plans, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will wonder what Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has in mind. They’ll be dressed up for the big event, but Sonny will ask if they’re staying or going. He’ll give Carly a chance to back out if she has a different evening in mind.

However, it looks like Carly will be ready to roll. Sonny will even have an announcement to make later, so perhaps he’ll reveal the gender of their baby. Over with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), he’ll get a kiss from Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Liz will feel like it’s going to be a good night for them, but Franco will know so. GH spoilers say he’s got some surprises in store for his lovely wife.

General Hospital Spoilers – Willow Tait Gets A Surprise

Meanwhile, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will surprise Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) as well. He’ll have an idea he thinks is just great, but Willow probably won’t agree. Maybe Chase will ask Willow to participate in his Nurses Ball performance.

Willow won’t been keen on that suggestion, but Chase will push her into it when he pulls her up on stage next week. You can bet Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) won’t be pleased! Of course, Shiloh won’t be very into the Nurses Ball to begin with. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will notice Shiloh’s lack of interest and wonder if he’s sure about this.

Shiloh may admit he’s still not sold on the gathering, but he’ll be willing to give it a chance. If it means spending more time with Sam and growing closer to her, Shiloh won’t view it as a bad thing. Next, Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) will be over the moon. She’ll love seeing Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) walk in with Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) on her arm.

Other “General Hospital” spoilers say Ava Jerome (Maura West) will make quite a splash with her date for the shindig. Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will attend with Ava, but it’s only because they’re trying to draw Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) out of hiding. Ava will be convinced that Ryan’s on his way, which may be true based on what’s playing out in Canada.

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Laura Webber (Genie Francis) will definitely be in a tight spot. They’ll be tied up with their backs to each other, so Curtis will comment on their predicament.

Back at the Nurses Ball, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will turn on the charm. He’ll offer Champagne to someone – presumably a beautiful woman. Let’s hope Jax finds love again soon.
