General Hospital Spoilers: Baby Donna’s Risky Operation And Sasha’s Confession To Michael

General Hospital spoilers tease that Donna Corinthos (Emma and Ella Hulen) will have her spina bifida operation, and Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) secret might be spilled before Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) wedding, but not though any fault of her own or Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati)! Here’s what you need to know.

General Hospital Spoilers – New General Hospital Promo “Sasha’s Secret”

A new General Hospital promo video has been released, and although it is called “Sasha’s Secret” it begins with Donna Corinthos being taken to the operating room for the corrective surgery for her spina bifida. Dr. Sofia Navarro (Christina Ferraro) takes the newborn from her mother Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) arms in her hospital room and says it’s time to take her down. Then the scene shifts to tiny Donna in the pediatric intensive care unit, or PICU, being attended to by GH medical personnel and in an incubator wrapped in a cocoon. Both Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) watch through the glass window.

A repeat of the scene where Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and his sisters, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) are in the hospital waiting room and he tells them about Donna’s birth defect is also shown, with him saying the baby had spina bifida, and it’s serious, but they will all get through it together. General Hospital fall previews teased that Donna would have a serious health crisis after birth, so serious that it could tear the Corinthos family apart; but so far she looks like she must be doing okay. Sonny and Jason don’t look overly concerned as they look at her through the glass enrobed in her little cocoon in the incubator.

GH Spoilers – Liesl Obrecht Warns Sasha Gilmore That Nina Reeves Must Never Know Her Secret

It looks like Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) might be in the bathroom of the church where Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are to be married as Liesl delivers a stern warning to Sasha. Scenes of Nina lovingly helping Sasha in her hospital room when she was ill with the deadly strain of bird flu that Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) had injected her grapefruit with when she and Michael were on their island getaway. Liesl sternly warns Sasha that Nina can NEVER find out the truth, that she is not really Nina’s daughter, and then calls her an impostor!

Viewers will recall that Sasha’s conscience got the best of her after her health scare, and she confessed all to Michael, and he is helping her with a plan to tell Nina the truth, but decided to delay until after the wedding and possibly after Cassandra’s trial is over, since Michael and Sasha certainly don’t want to hurt Nina on her special day!

However, the truth could get out before they want it to, maybe even AT the wedding, since little did Liesl and Sasha know that Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) was using the restroom, where Liesl was talking to Sasha, and heard the whole thing, where she was in the stall across from them! She goes up to the stall door where Sasha and Liesl are behind with a look of shock and outrage! Will she be able to keep that information to herself or will she blab the whole thing to Nina or possibly Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) immediately?
