General Hospital Rumor: Griffin In Danger - Shiloh's Next Cult RecruitmentGeneral Hospital spoilers tease that Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) the vulnerable former priest, may become a target of shifty Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and the Dawn of Day cult!

Of course, Shiloh has yet to be proven to be a fraud and a con man, but with the amount of lies General Hospital viewers have already caught him in, it’s a good bet that he and his group are just too good to be true! Griffin, a discouraged and grieving former priest who has lost his faith is the perfect recruit for a group like this!

Griffin even threw away his St. Aloysius medal that he’d worn for years, where Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) found it after Griffin left the hospital chapel, on the floor! Griffin has gone from an uncertain faith, believing that good works are the way to heaven and that he’d failed God, to feeling God abandoned him, to abandoning belief in a God at all in a few short months, not knowing why a God Who claims to be in control didn’t save Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) and why He hasn’t caused the serial killer to be caught!

General Hospital Spoilers – Griffin Needs Something To Believe In Right Now

Unlike the Catholic church and many Protestant churches, where many followers look for God and goodness outside themselves, somewhere in a celestial place, the Dawn of Day followers seem to see God as a realization of something inside themselves that needs to be nurtured and developed. That in itself is not such a dangerous or bad thing, but how it may be used by unscrupulous, controlling, people could be.

This is the danger with Shiloh himself, if not his followers. People feel safe in thinking they are controlling their own destinies, and cult leaders are master manipulators who con them into thinking they are in control when really the cult leader is!

General Hospital Spoilers – Shiloh’s Next Target?

Griffin, looking for someone or something to believe in may be vulnerable to Shiloh’s outward goodness. Stay tuned to GH and keep checking General Hospital spoilers frequently to see if Griffin finds his own way back to God or if Shiloh takes God’s place with Griffin!
