General Hospital Alum Bryan Craig To Begin Working On New Series

General Hospital Alum Bryan Craig To Begin Working On New SeriesFans hoping to see Bryan Craig reprise his role as Morgan Corinthos on “General Hospital” might have to wait a little longer as the actor is set to be busy again. Craig has been cast in an upcoming series called NARC, which is produced, written and directed by Chris Nichols.

Set in South Los Angeles, the action crime drama series follows Stephanie King, an intelligent US Marine Tec Genius whose little brother has been kidnapped for ransom by a south LA Mexican drug cartel. She just returned from two tours in Afghanistan and was devastated by the news. She almost had a cocaine relapse. But with her military experience, she became part of LAPD as the first female head of its narcotics division. She wants to get her brother back and end the drug cartel, per IMDB.

Craig will play the role of Detective Danny Flores. He will star along Melvin Jackson Jr., DeVaughn Nixon, Lorenzo Eduardo, Steve Alan Davis and Nichols himself, who will play Detective Jason West.

Craig played Morgan Corinthos on “General Hospital” from 2013 to 2016, when the character was killed off, and he made a brief return last year as part of Ava’s hallucinations. He is also known for his role as Adam Coogan on military TV series “Valor” and Jimmy Lowe on “Youthful Daze.”

Bryan Craig’s latest project is “Grand Hotel,” which is set to premiere on June 11, 2019. He is portraying Javi Mendoza. “Grand Hotel” is produced by Eva Longoria and is based on a Spanish-language telenovela that tells the drama in the lives of a family who owns a beach hotel in Miami and its staff.

Since leaving GH, Craig has also starred in indie films “Ride” and “American Fighter.” With his career on an upward trajectory, it is best to expect that if GH is going to bring Morgan from the dead, they might have to recast the role.
