Days of Our Lives Star Stephen Nichols Gets A Huge Surprise On Set!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Stephen Nichols (Steve ‘Patch’ Johnson) It looks like everyone is exciting to see Stephen Nichols (Steve ‘Patch’ Johnson) back on the set of Days of Our Lives! Even though it’s been several years since he left the soap, it looks like his co-stars and the crew of the show are very exciting to have him back. Here’s what you need to know.

DOOL Spoilers: Patch Returns To Salem

For months now Days of Our Lives fans have made it pretty clear that they wanted to have Patch back in Salem. Thankfully, they got their wish. Stephen Nichols has been working hard on the set and is expected to be seen in episodes a few months from now.

Yet what Stephen got on his first day back at work really surprised him. The actor got a cake with an eyepatch on the iconic Days of Our Lives hourglass. He shared a photo of the creation on his Instagram account and captioned it with, “when I walked off stage and saw this amazing creation, I almost plotzed.

We have to say, we are pretty impressed with the cake, too! A few of Stephen’s fans wrote, “We are so thrilled you’re back. We missed you so much. Love seeing you smile. Enjoy your gifts & we’re counting down the #Days until we see you on our screen. #PatchIsBack#Squee,” along with, “Amazing news!I haven’t saw DOOL in years, but I may have to watch it again because of you! Is “Kayla” going to be on as well?’

Another fan wrote, “Finally! What is the matter with those folks over there? Stop with the musical chairs maneuvering of our beloved characters. Add new, sure!

But don’t throw out your best stories/your best actors/one partner of your supercouples. Let this be a lesson. Welcome back, SN. Now I can begin watching you @stephen_e_nichols and the show again.”
