Days of Our Lives Spoilers Monday, February 25: Jack’s Mayoral Debate Shocker – Claire’s Fears Grow – Hope’s Sincere Apology to Ben

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for Monday, February 25, tease that Hope Hernandez (Kristian Alfonso) will decide she owes Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) an apology. DOOL fans know Hope’s hurled plenty of accusations at Ben over the last few months. She’s blamed him for every possible crime you could imagine. Hope’s been desperate for a way to get Ben out of Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) life.

However, Hope’s starting to see Ben’s softer side. She at least understands that Ben isn’t as dangerous and deranged as he used to be. Hope will acknowledge that in Monday’s episode as she apologizes for her behavior. She let herself get stuck on Ben’s past and completely ignored the changes he’s been trying to make. Hope will tell Ben she’s sorry and try to give him a fair shot from now on.

Meanwhile, Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) will worry about her dark secret coming to light. “Days of Our Lives” just filled viewers in on a crazy revelation. We saw a fake flashback of Claire arriving at the cabin and watching the flame of a flickering lighter. Claire was behind the first cabin fire that nearly took Ciara’s life, so she’ll definitely want to keep that under wraps.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers say we’ll learn more about Claire’s motive on Monday, but it’s pretty obvious. Claire was eager to push Ciara out of the picture for good and keep Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) all to herself. That’s clearly a flimsy excuse for a twist this huge. It’s easy to see why so many fans are upset about this shocker.

It’s not believable for Claire to resort to attempted murder, especially when she loves Ciara deep down. Nevertheless, DOOL will try to sell the story of why Claire was willing to kill her own aunt over a guy. It should be interesting to see how Claire tracked Ciara down when the cops were still baffled.

Other “Days of Our Lives” spoilers say a mayoral debate bomb will drop. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will step forward to reveal something about Melinda Trask’s (Laura Kai Chen) little sis. He’ll announce that Haley Chen (Thia Megia) is an undocumented immigrant, but Melinda will insist she doesn’t even have a sister. She’ll lie and hope to do some damage control.

Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves), who’ll be serving as this debate’s moderator, will end the event immediately. Soon after, “Days” spoilers state that Jack will get an earful. Jennifer will be furious with Jack and Eve for using Haley’s problems for political gain.
