Days Of Our Lives Brandon Barash Posts Heartfelt Message To Tyler Christopher As He Takes Over Stefan DiMera Role

Brandon Barash is officially taking over the role of Stefan O. DiMera on “Days of Our Lives” on March 22, Friday. Tyler Christopher’s last scenes as Stefan aired on March 20. As Brandon becomes the new face of the character, he sent a heartfelt message to Tyler.

“Thank you friend for your graceful passing of proverbial torch & the warm welcome into the Days community,” he wrote. “I’m honored to join this iconic show that drips with integrity from the producers, to the crew members, and the actors.”

“I look forward to the exhilarating, albeit arduous, challenge of filling your shoes…as you are one of the greats, Tyler. Now, let’s put the O in Stefan O. DiMera,” he added, to which Christopher replied, “so very gracious my friend. You will serve him well.”

Days Of Our Lives News: Tyler Christopher Said His Final Farewells

This comes after Tyler Christopher said his farewells to “Days of Our Lives,” saying that his stay was full of fun and it was great to work with people on the daytime soap. He also asked fans to welcome Brandon on Days. “Such a solid actor and an even better person,” he said.

Christopher also thanked Days’ head writer, Ron Carlivati, for trusting him in portraying Stefan. “What a guy that Stefan. It was an honor to bring him to life for you,” he added.

Barash indeed has a big shoes to fill in, but his fans are confident that he can make the role his own. How he pairs with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) is also something to look forward too.

Days Of Our Lives News: Tyler Christopher Nominated For Lead Actor

In other news, Christopher has been nominated for the Lead Actor in a Drama category in the upcoming Daytime Emmy for his portrayal as Stefan DiMera. He thanked Banus, Marci Miller and Kate Mansi (as Abby) and Billy Flynn (as Chad) that he got the nomination.

Flynn has also been nominated in the same category while Miller has been nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama. Other Days stars who got their Emmy nominations are Kassie DePaiva, Lindsey Godfrey, Martha Madison (Supporting Actress in a Drama) and Eric Martsolf and Greg Rikaart (Supporting Actor in a Drama).
