Y&R Judith Chapman Opens Up About Her DOOL Return

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) star Judith Chapman is finally opening up about her return to the hit NBC daytime soap, Days of Our Lives! The actress, who is best known for her role as Gloria Bardwell on The Young and the Restless, is finally opening up about heading back to her daytime television roots. The actress is also known for her role as Anjelica Deveraux on DOOL.

Apparently, Judith won’t be coming back as her character Anjelica. Instead, she will be playing a brand new character by the name of Diana Cooper. Diana is actually Leo’s (played by actor Greg Rikaart) mother. (Her Y&R son)

After keeping quiet about the news for several weeks, Judith finally had something to say about returning to the soap. While being congratulated for an award win, Judith said, “Couldn’t be happier for all of us in BLITHE SPIRIT’ and to All in The Desert Theatre Community!!! BRAVO!!! And while preparing for SPIRIT…I took a side trip to LOS ANGELES to play another Ghostly Apparition on DAYS OF OUR LIVES…HALLOWEEN…..APPROACHES!! DON’T MISS IT.”

It’s safe to say that Judith is definitely excited about returning to Salem. Now as far as what her storyline will consist of, remains to be seen. For now though, it’s without a doubt that her fans can’t wait to see her back on the small screen. Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
