The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Reed Wracked With Guilt – Nikki’s Fate Unknown

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Reed Wracked With Guilt – Nikki's Fate UnknownReed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu) knows that he did wrong on ‘The Young and the Restless’. And with Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) fate remaining unknown, his fortitude to withhold the truth from everyone can’t last long.

Hitting a deer, as he and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) thought they might have done the other night, would have been bad enough. In that instance, they could have stopped the car, called an animal rescue agency and potentially helped the poor creature to either get help, or be buried.

Of course, Chancellor Park wouldn’t have been an option, like it was for Nikki and the rest of the ‘Fearsome Foursome’, as Vickie (Amelia Heinle) recently termed themselves. But they didn’t hit an animal, as both young men have painfully come to realize.

Young And Restless Spoilers – Reed Hellstrom Guilt-Ridden

Charlie’s choice to allow Reed Hellstrom to drive his car was misguided. Excuses related to the junior Ashby’s emotions being raw, due to Shauna’s (Camryn Hamm) relationship status change on Faceplace (a cheeky, replacement term Y&R has used for the well-known social media powerhouse), would represent pure enabling. He, along with Reed, who holds a suspended driver’s license, are both old enough to know better.

No ‘splaining their free will choices away. Instead, it’s time for Reed to man-up, another cheeky term in today’s Genoa City world. Surprisingly, he seems inclined to do just that.

A Christmas Eve miracle will soon take place, as Victor (Eric Braeden) returns from wherever he’s been hiding, or so Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) has been saying. Along with that Y&R should pair Reed’s mea culpa.

Young And Restless Spoilers – Will Nikki Survive?

Nikki will soon see her one true love, dressed to the nine’s in an otherworldly sequence. That will precede her regain of consciousness and be followed by the double reveals of Reed learning that his grandmother is actually the one who killed (accidental though it was) his father and Nikki learning that her grandson ran her over, again, accidentally.

Kudos to out-going executive producer and head writer Mal Young for leading a compelling crescendo to this arc, where J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) seemingly died. With seemingly being the key word that will soon be definitively answered.
