‘The Young and the Restless’ (YR) Poll: Who Is Heading To Prison? – J.T. Storyline Set To End

'The Young and the Restless' (YR) Poll: Who Is Heading To Prison? - J.T. Storyline Set To EndThis complex arc actually began late last year on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Fans didn’t know it, but Thad Luckinbill (J.T.) agreed to reprise his role, after not having appeared on Y&R since 2010, knowing that his character was going to go dark and then be killed. That solid actor made a creatively bold decision.

It was very disturbing to see a well-liked character be devolved as J.T. was. The intent was purposeful, intending to show what happens when an average person loses his, or her, mind.

J.T. seemingly lost control of himself due to a series of career setbacks. He is said to have internalized his perceived failures and slowly allowed himself to become an animalistic monster.

Vickie (Amelia Heinle) became the victim of significant other abuse. She fully intended to remarry her one-time love and reform their family. But a savage night at her home, during a proposed ‘Ladies Night In’ changed her world and that of the soon-to-be-named coverup crew.

Unless Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) shifts this case to the cold file, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) seems likely to be arrested and jailed. In the real world she would potentially face years behind bars. But this is Genoa City and she’s a Newman. So, who knows what will happen.

Vickie lied to Paul (Doug Davidson), saying that she helped J.T. to get out of town. While her intent was honorable, in that it removed Nikki, Sharon (Sharon Case), and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) from the discussion, it also was a crime. That on top of having not reported J.T.’s accidental death and then helping to unlawfully bury him in Chancellor Park. So Vickie should also be arrested and imprisoned, right?

Phyllis and Sharon are in less trouble then Nikki and Vickie. But they were willing accomplices and must face justice. How could either person possibly avoid the pen, considering what they also did?

Fans of ‘The Young and the Restless’ rightfully express their opinions on a regular basis. So, how will the J.T. storyline end? Please vote in our poll below!
