The Young and the Restless Recap Tuesday, November 6: Rey Get Evidence To Move Ahead With JT Murder Investigation

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Tuesday, November 6, 2018, reveals that over at Crimson Lights, Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) tells Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) he will take the watch he found to the police station.

At Dark Horse, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) awaken on the sofa. Abby Newman and Arturo Rosales join Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) in the elevator and Jack mentions he has a meeting with Nick. In the office, Nick warns Phyllis people are coming and she needs to get dressed. Phyllis pulls him into a kiss. Exiting the elevator, Arturo and Abby head toward Nick’s office and just miss him as he walks out. Abby goes another direction.

Phyllis bumps into Arturo as she’s leaving which causes him to drop the watch from the park and she picks it up and hands it to him. After, Arturo runs into Jack. Jack enters Nick’s office and sees Phyllis’ Jabot ID there. Nick appears and after their meeting, Jack hands over her ID and says he found it on the sofa under the blanket. He points out that Nick is moving on with the person who ruined his wedding. Nick says that Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) is done, and he will not spend his life chasing her. He informs Jack that what he and Phyllis may or may not be doing is not any of his business. Jack agrees and leaves.

At home, Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander) updates Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) that he missed a call from the realtor, Farrah DuBose, and Mattie Ashby (Lexi Stevenson) asks if they’re moving. Cane wants them to be closer to Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil). He then explains to them that they will be renting a place and can return after Lily’s sentence is over. He talks about switching schools and possibly taking a leave of absence from Chancellor Industries. The twins understand it’s important for their mom, but think it’s crazy.

At Jabot, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) snarks at Phyllis Summers about being the first non-Abbott CEO he’s worked for and she tells him to get used to it and that she is there to stay. Alone in her office, Phyllis looks at Nick Newman’s contact information on her phone before getting to work and later stops to call Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and leaves a voicemail. Nick arrives to admire Phyllis in action and returns her ID, along with a heads-up that Jack Abbott found it.

After, Kyle brings Phyllis coffee and apologizes for snarking earlier and says he just wants a chance to prove himself. Kyle questions if she’s sending him and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) a message because of Summer Newman (Hunter King). Phyllis says that what Billy did with Summer was disgusting and advises Kyle to separate himself from her ex.

At the station, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) chats about a case with Christine (Lauralee Bell), who warns him the clock is ticking on the JT Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) investigation.

At Crimson Lights, Abby Newman tries to talk Arturo Rosales into inviting Rey Rosales to join them, then calls him over herself. Talk turns to the watch. Rey offers to take it to the station, but Arturo wonders if he thinks he will steal it. Rey points out it’s not the first time he stole something.

Rey tells Abby about Arturo taking a neighbor’s bike that didn’t belong to him, and says to his brother, “That’s what you do, isn’t it?” Abby takes a call and Rey notices the watch is inscribed, ‘Love, Mac’. He takes it for evidence and Arturo rants to Abby that he’s still a jerk and has to control everything. Abby points out he has more time with her, and they kiss.

At the Club, Jack Abbott talks to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) about Phyllis Summers being CEO of Jabot and says it feels like karmic payback for the blood Abbott clause. He then talks about how Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) departure left a hole in the family, and Devon understands because of Lily Ashby. Talk turns back to Phyllis.

At Devon Hamilton’s penthouse, the twins inform him they will not be able to intern at Hamilton-Winters anymore. Devon’s shocked to hear they’re moving and asks what Cane Ashby is thinking then points out that they are in the middle of their senior year at high school. Charlie Ashby and Mattie Ashby assure him they’re willing to make sacrifices, but Devon doesn’t think Lily Ashby would want it and floats the idea of them not going along with it.

When Cane arrives, Devon speaks on their behalf. Cane admits he hasn’t told Lily his plans and Devon accuses him of pushing ahead blindly. Cane’s just lost without her. Devon asks what Lily would do in his place. Cane calls the twins over and lovingly assures them they aren’t going anywhere.

Back over at Jabot, Jack Abbott arrives and talks to Kyle Abbott about Phyllis Summers being CEO. Kyle complains she’s a hardass. Phyllis appears, and Jack’s sorry he missed her earlier at Dark Horse. Phyllis accuses him of coming because he knows about Nick Newman and points out she can have a relationship with whoever she wants. She wonders how he thinks her personal life is his business.

At the station, Rey Rosales bags the watch and pulls out a photo of Mackenzie Hellstrom (Kelly Kruger) and JT Hellstrom in which JT is wearing the watch.
