Soap Opera Weekly Ratings October 22 to 26, 2018: GH Down, Y&R, B&B and DOOL All Excel in RatingsSoap Opera ratings were reported by Soap Opera Network for the week of Monday, October 22 through Friday, October 26, 2018. There didn’t appear to be any major interruptions nor any scheduled preemptions this week that would have affected the ratings in any way; so let’s see how all four of our beloved daytime soap operas did this week!

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

CBS’ B&B gained 129,000 total viewers from the previous week, leaving them in the number two spot with 3,368,000 in total viewership. The CBS soap opera also rose 43,000 among women viewers aged 18-49. It was an exciting week, as Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) confront Bill (Don Diamont) about all his antics, resulting him Bill falling over his balcony and in the hospital; and they’re forced to answer loved ones.

Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) learn they are expecting a little girl. Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Pam (Alley Mills) quibble turns ugly after Quinn ruins Stephanie’s portrait. Will Thorne and Ridge face the legal consequences for their actions and will their marriages survive?

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

CBS’ Y&R added an impressive 114,000 viewers this week, still remaining in the number one spot, with 4,226,000 total viewers. It also gained 25,000 viewers among women 18-49 years old. Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Jack (Peter Bergman) shred the documents Dina (Marla Adams) created to protect Ashley (Eileen Davidson), but to no avail as Traci (Beth Maitland) uncovers the truth, forces them to confess and Ashley vindictively takes the patents and virtually everything and leaves town.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) warns Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) to stay away from Sharon (Sharon Case), but she remains firm in her decision that things are over with her cheating ex; and her friends and life is none of his business. Cane (Daniel Goddard) was shocked this week when he went to see Lily (Christel Khalil) and denied visitation after she was involved in an altercation with other inmates. Y&R fans have to wonder if the Abbott family will ever recover from all the backstabbing they have done to each other.
