Neighbours Spoilers: Blair McDonough Returns As Stuart Parker

Neighbours Spoilers: Blair McDonough Returns As Stuart ParkerLong-time Neighbours fans will be pleased to hear that the Australian soap is bringing back Stuart Parker for a special celebration later this year.

Blair McDonough – who initially rose to fame by appearing on Big Brother Australia – first appeared as Stuart on the 13th December 2001. He is probably best remembered for living at number 30 with Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) and Connor O’Neill (Patrick Harvey), which famously became known as “The House of Trouser”.

Stuart had many storylines including becoming a police man, marrying Sindi Watts – who was seen briefly last year caught up in the Dee/Andrea drama – and joining a cult, which ultimately lost him most of his Erinsborough friends. Stuart finally left our screens on the 5th April 2006 after McDonough decided to pursue other projects.

The actor was most recently seen in fellow Australian soap opera Home and Away, playing the guest role of Alan Ellis in October 2017. He played a challenging role in this soap, portraying the husband of Jackie Ellis, whose daughter Beth Ellis passed away from arrhythmia shortly after his arrival.

During an interview with TV Week, Neighbours executive producer Jason Herbison confirmed that McDonough will return to Erinsborough for an episode this year to connect with an old friend. It was further revealed that this reunion will take place at a celebration for this friend, but further details are being kept secret for now. Given that Stuart used to live with Toadie, it would be a good bet to say that he’s the one Stuart is visiting!

This is not the first time that Blair has considered returning to Neighbours, a show that means a lot to him. “I did actually float the idea of Stu making a return to the Neighbours producers,” he said. “They were too far down the path with the storyline at that point, though. Neighbours was my university! I didn’t go to uni or get the chance to do all those crazy things as a kid, so that’s what Neighbours was for me.”

Blair McDonough can be seen on screens later in the year!
