General Hospital Star Accused Of Conning Multiple Women

Through the years we have seen hundreds of faces come and go on the ABC soap opera General Hospital. Stephen Martines played the part of Nikolas Cassadine / Marcus Taggerton on the daytime drama from 2001 – 2003, and appeared in roughly 156 episodes.

You may also recognize him from his roles on Guiding Light, The Closer, and Burn Notice, to name a few.  But, nowadays Stephen Martines is being recognized for something far more shocking.  Multiple women have come forward and claimed that they were conned by the soap star in St. Louis, and allege that he took out dozens of credit cards in their names, racking up hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt.

Women in St. Louis are coming out of the woodwork and claiming that they dated Martines at some point, and he scammed thousands of dollars from them with promises to pay them back the next time he landed an acting gig.  So far Martines has not addressed the allegations and it’s unclear if criminal charges will be filed.
