General Hospital Spoilers: Nina's Search For Her Daughter Ends In Disaster?General Hospital spoilers say that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will make good progress in his job finding Nina Reeves’ (Michelle Stafford) long lost daughter. He has already tracked down an excellent candidate in Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), and obtained a DNA sample to compare to Nina’s.

However, Sasha was not too receptive to the news that she may be adopted and that the mother she grew up with and adored may not have been her mother after all! In fact, she vehemently denied that she’d been adopted!

Curtis told Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) there was a little family resemblance to Nina herself, but obviously Curtis has not seen Nina’s cousin, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) – Sofia is nearly a dead ringer for Britt!

If Curtis wants to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Sasha is Nina’s, he should compare paternal DNA as well as maternal. Since the father, Silas Clay (Michael Easton) has been dead for several years, he’d have to get a sample from Kiki Jerome, (Hayley Erin) Silas’s only known child, and let Kiki in on the secret search. Kiki is at heart a kind person who would certainly not spill the beans to Nina, in spite of her own present life turmoil.

That way Curtis would have some undeniable proof to show Sasha, in an effort to try to nudge her towards Nina before telling Nina anything. Besides, if Kiki’s DNA is tested against Nina’s as well, it may settle the question once and for all about her being Kiki’s or Ava’s! And if she’s not Nina’s, at least she’ll know she has another half-sister on her dad’s side!

One can’t really blame Sasha for being resistant to the idea of having been adopted and having never been told the truth. For one thing, the only mother she knew has been deceased for two years and that is relatively recently for a young girl to not still be in a grieving process. She also had been told about being born in the middle of a major snowstorm a million times or so, and she believes what she’s been told all her life about herself.

But, if Curtis does provide proof beyond doubt that Sasha is the child of Nina and Silas who was given up for adoption, and confronts Sasha with it, she may agree to meet with Nina, if nothing else out of curiosity. It’s also a possibility that Valentin, having seen the proof first may try to put the meeting together. Besides, Nina could have been the one to give birth in the middle of a major snowstorm!

Unfortunately, General Hospital spoilers indicate this first tentative meeting between Sasha and Nina may be a disaster! Sasha may not be ready to just accept Nina as her real mother, proof or not, and tell her she doesn’t want anything to do with her!

Imagine Nina’s reactions when she finds out about her daughter, meets her, and then is rejected by her! Sasha may have shown some interest in meeting Nina initially, but Nina, after so many years of believing she miscarried, may go overboard with Sasha and scare her! Sasha may think her real mother is a psycho if Nina goes all lovey dovey on her at the first meeting!

It looks like all the questions GH fans have about who is and who is not Nina’s long lost daughter will be answered soon.  Keep watching GH and checking General Hospital spoilers frequently to learn the truth along with Nina!
