General Hospital Spoilers Monday, July 9: Michael Raises the Stakes – Franco’s Big Shocker – Sonny and Jason’s Dead Body Crisis

“General Hospital” spoilers for Monday, July 9, tease that Franco (Roger Howarth) will face a shocker. Wyatt (Patrick J. Gibbons) will decide to help Peter (Wes Ramsey) out by coming clean. He’ll admit he found a guy tied up in a cabin, so Franco will have to decide if he believes him.

Wyatt confessed that he’s told some tall tales in the past, which could lead to a few doubts. However, Franco’s instincts will leave him convinced this is the truth. Wyatt will provide some info to back up his claims, so Franco will launch his own investigation.

Finn (Michael Easton) will get in on this eventually, but Peter (Wes Ramsey) will have to suffer in the meantime. He just won’t see any way out of this mess. If Peter doesn’t give Liesl (Kathleen Gati) the admission she wants, he could be stuck at that cabin forever. If he confesses, Dr. O could kill him when he’s done. Peter won’t see any positive outcome, so his hope will fade fast.

Other “General Hospital” spoilers say Chase (Josh Swickard) will be pleasantly surprised. Finn will agree to some brother bonding, so Chase will be tickled pink. All he wants is a chance to get to know Finn and be a real family. Chase just might get his wish if this goes well.

Over with Michael (Chad Duell), he’ll soothe any concerns Nelle (Chloe Lanier) might have. Michael will try to convince her that they need to find a judge and marry today. Nelle may get on board, but there’ll be a problem soon enough. This snag could be part of Michael’s plan with Chase, so stay tuned to see the next bombshell.

At Charlie’s Pub, Julian (William deVry) will want to get down to business. He’ll be ready to start the renovation process, so that’s terrible news for Sonny (Maurice Benard). When Sonny meets back up with Jason, he’ll give him updates and warn that trouble’s brewing.

Jason will ask how long it’ll take to find the body. Sonny won’t know for sure, but he’ll fear it could happen sooner than he’d like. The last thing he needs is for Julian and his crew to stumble across the evidence. GH spoilers say Sonny and Jason will work to prevent it, but that could be a tricky task.

Speaking of tricky tasks, Scott (Kin Shriner) will deal with one of his own. He’ll nearly blab to Ava (Maura West) about Griffin (Matt Cohen) and Kiki’s (Hayley Erin) hookup, but it seems he’ll back out at the last second. This would crush Ava to the core, so Scott may leave her in the dark for the time being.

At Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) apartment, she’ll get another visitor. This one won’t be as exciting as Colonel Sanders (George Hamilton), but she’ll welcome her just the same. Nina (Michelle Stafford) will check in and find out about little James’ impending arrival. It won’t take long for their chat to shift to Peter, so Nina will have to play it cool.

During this conversation, Maxie will admit that she doesn’t want Peter to die. She still cares about him on some level, so she can’t bear the thought of a deadly fate. Nina had better hope she can control Liesl and keep Peter alive!
