General Hospital RUMORS: Vulnerable Oscar Recruited Into A Cult By Daisy

General Hospital RUMORS: Vulnerable Oscar Recruited Into A Cult By DaisyGeneral Hospital rumors tease that the “coalition house” that Daisy (Kelsey Wang) invited Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) to live in may actually be a cult! The building itself may not be, but the description Daisy gave of a place where a group of random people live together, pay what they can, and work together to keep the place clean sounds suspiciously like how many cults live.

Of course, it could merely be a low income rooming house as well, but activities like handing out flyers inviting strangers to a place where the group members may be also sounds like how many cults recruit members. It’s possible Daisy’s befriending of Kristina Davis-Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth) could also be an attempt at recruitment.

General Hospital viewers “of a certain age” will undoubtedly remember the Sun-Myung-Moon version of the Unification Church, and their members, called “Moonies” selling flowers and other things at airports to support themselves while simultaneously trying to recruit new members.

General Hospital has never done a true cult story, although Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) “Eat –Pray –Love” storyline where she left town and came back with “Levi Dunkleman” (Zachary Garred) came close. If this will turn out to be a cult storyline, it is in its very beginning stages.

Some cults of certain religious varieties forbid their members to seek any kind of medical attention, deeming it a failure of faith, and it’s possible GH could be going this route down the road with Oscar’s story. Of course, this would be even more worrisome for his mother Kim Nero (Tamara Braun), father Drew Cain (Billy Miller) and Oscar’s attorney Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) as well, especially if daughter Kristina is drawn into it …and poor Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) would have yet another thing on his already too-full plate to deal with!

So will the “coalition house” turn out to be where a cult resides, or will it turn out to be a low income rooming house in the Charles Street district? Stay tuned to GH and keep checking General Hospital spoilers frequently to see which way this storyline barely in its infancy leads!

As always, more detailed spoilers and a full collection of pictures for the week in question will appear here on Soap Opera Spy, where there will be more clues and hints over exactly what’s going on.
