General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Vs. Ned Take Two – Mayoral Campaign Ahead?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that since Genie Francis returned as Laura Collins on Friday, September 28, 2018 things haven’t been quite “right” in her marriage with Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). She is desperate to have quality time with him, completely unaware that she is living with psychopath and serial killer, Ryan Chamberlain – not her beloved Kevin!

It is perfect timing for Laura to jump back in the race – for Ryan! Of course, Laura doesn’t think so, as she wants this time to reconnect with Kevin and her family, including her daughter, Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) and her grandchildren; but Laura may have gotten too close for comfort when she finds an odd list of women’s names in Kevin’s office.

She doesn’t think he is cheating, but she is curious, so when Ryan conveniently learns from Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) about him having no opposition in the mayoral campaign, he immediately suggests Laura picks up where she left off.

GH sources tease that Laura is more and more encourages to re-enter the race by her nearest and dearest because of her deep interest in fixing up Port Charles and restoring it to its former glory. She was a great candidate and someone who really loved their hometown. For now, she remains completely oblivious to why “Kevin” really doesn’t want her around. Laura even mocks him, asking him, “What? Are you trying to get rid of me?” She wants to see him as the loving, sweet man she married who is simply supporting her in doing what she loves to do.

There might be a slight snag in Laura rejoining the race, as the deadline has passed to become a candidate; but surely if enough citizens of Port Charles support her, there has to be a way around that, right! How long do you think Ryan can keep Laura distracted with this campaign before she becomes suspicious of his lack of attention and what is with the list of names Laura discovered?
