General Hospital star Kimberly McCullough is a survivor both on-screen and off-screen. The GH star is well known for her iconic character Robin Scorpio-Drake. However, off screen Kimberly’s life is quite eventful as well.
McCullough has a personal blow which she updates periodically to give her fans an inside look of her personal life, both the good and the bad. It was on this blog that McCullough opened up about the devastating miscarriage she suffered, and the birth of her baby boy Otis.
Kimberly has been going through a lot these days, and is a survivor of the devastating fires that recently swept through California, she had to evacuate with her baby boy Otis in the middle of the night, however they made it out safe.
The General Hospital star took to her blog this week to open up about her experience with the California wildfires, and her home in Ojai. McCullough’s story was absolutely heart-wrenching, but also inspiring.
Kimberly wrote, “On December 4th, I was reminded once again how I am not in control. The power was out and I was careful to not wake the baby as I walked out the front door to see if the neighbor’s power was out as well. Smoke invaded my lungs and I coughed hard. An orange glow loomed above me and I knew in that moment, we were not safe. What followed was 47 days of moving three adults, two dogs, and a baby from place to place.”
