General Hospital Alum Nathan Parsons Lands New Exciting Primetime Role

It looks like we’ve got another General Hospital alum making the transition from daytime television to primetime with ease. New reports say that actor Nathan Parsons (Ethan Lovett) has landed a new exciting role in a CW Roswell reboot.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the new series will be based on the Roswell High book series by Melinda Metz. The pilot will revolve around the daughter of undocumented immigrants who returns to her hometown of Roswell, New Mexico. She comes back just to find out the shocking truth about a person she used to have a crush on. He’s now a police officer and apparently, he’s got a huge secret that he’s trying to keep from the town’s other residents. He’s an alien who has kept his unearthly abilities hidden his entire life. The young woman promises to protect his secret as they work together to investigate a violent attack and cover up on a greater alien presence on Earth.

Nathan will be joined by Tyler Blackburn (from Pretty Young Liars), Lily Cowles (BrainDead) Michael Vlamis (New Girl) and Heather Hemmens (Hellcats) for the reboot.

Nathan Parsons, who fans remember as Jackson from The Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals will play Max, the Roswell police officer. The role was originally played by actor Jason Behr during the original 1999 WB series. Many soap fans remember the Australian-born actor as Ethan Lovett on General Hospital. Nathan was a Port Charles regular from 2009 until 2015. It’s without a doubt that fans are very excited to see him in a new exciting project again!
