General Hospital Actress Joins Grey’s AnatomyGeneral Hospital star Patricia Bethune is moving to a new time slot! The daytime television star has just landed a new guest starring role on the highly-rated primetime medical drama, Grey’s Anatomy.

Patricia was best known for her role as Nurse Mary Pat in Port Charles.  According to reports, fans can catch Patricia in the Thursday, November 8 episode titled Anybody Have a Map? The episode will see Catherine Avery (Debbie Allen) return to Los Angeles just in time to start work on her new foundation.

Also, she will summon Meredith Grey (played by actress Ellen Pompeo) and Tom Koracick (Greg Germann) to visit her facility for a highly confidential meeting. Elsewhere, one of the nurses at the hospital is 28 weeks pregnant and collapses while talking to Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.).

The episode was written by Elisabeth R. Finch and directed by Krista Vernoff and from what we can tell already, it looks like it’s going to be full of excitement and drama!

Many fans will remember Patricia’s role as Nurse Mary Pat for years to come as she did an excellent job of making Carly Corinthos’ life hell inside the Ferncliff facility. And while it doesn’t look like she will be back on daytime television anytime soon, we will definitely be following her career and her next role in the television world.  Stay tuned for more!
