EastEnders Spoilers: Mick Carter To Die After Robbery Gone Wrong?

EastEnders Spoilers: Mick Carter To Die After Robery Gone Wrong?Did Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) just die trying to save the Queen Vic? He finally went through with Aiden McGuire’s (Patrick Bergin) heist scheme, but it looks like he’s been shot, with the outlook grim.

2018 rang in with a bang in Walford as Aiden’s band of merry men carried out the much discussed heist. First it looked like Mick’s mom Shirley (Linda Henry) would get in the way of his participation, but in the end the barman was front and center when the van showed up at the Arches.

Aiden’s crew, decked out with fake weaponry, proceeded to rob the occupants. Mick and Keanu (Danny Walters) had an unexpected hiccup however, when two of the criminals came out of the van and Mick recognized one of them.

In his shock, poor Mick couldn’t help exclaiming, “It’s you!” a cry that was followed by immediate gunfire. Was Mick shot? It sure seemed that way when his wife Linda (Kellie Bright) screamed out in horror instantaneously. Did she see Mick get plugged?

EastEnders left fans with a stupendous cliffhanger: was Mick shot, is he dead, who is the person he recognized?

Also coming into question now is Aiden’s role and motive in the whole escapade. Has he been on the level or lying to the men this whole time?

Fans were thrown one clue when the credits rolled as the episode left the air. Callum ‘Halfway’ Highway, portrayed by Tony Clay, was ID’d as the shooter.

What do you think? How does Lee figure into the plan, if at all? Was Mick shot, and if so will his wound be fatal?
