“Days Of Our Lives” (DOOL) recap for Tuesday, June 5, 2018, kicks off with Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) kissing Tripp (Lucas Adams), he pushes her away and tells her this is a bad thing.
Kate Hires A Crooked Attorney
Kate (Lauren Koslow) meets Leo (Greg Rikaart) and introduces him to his attorney. The attorney knows the truth, Kate plans to take down Sonny (Freddy Smith) and Titan along with it.
Leo asks Kate if she’s sure they can trust this attorney because he can set them up. The attorney tells Leo to let him do most of the talking this evening. The attorney wants to see Kate privately.
Sonny Tries To Attack Leo
Days of Our Lives’ Justin (Wally Kurth) and Sonny are talking about the lawsuit. Justin doesn’t believe the lawsuit will stand based on lies. Sonny still can’t believe Leo is doing this, he probably expects a payoff. Sonny tells Justin a scandal could ruin an entire legacy.
Justin tells Leo and his lawyer that they met on a dating app. Leo claims he was working at Titan when they first met. Leo says Sonny invited him out to dinner and it became evident that he wanted more from him. Sonny figures out that Leo stole his phone and sent the text the day he lost it.
The attorney gives Sonny several pictures of her and Leo. Sonny says his family and friends will testify for him. The attorney accuses Sonny of taking advantage of vulnerable men and wants to know how confident Justin feels now.
Justin is given a settlement amount and tells them he will see them in court. Sonny goes after Leo and Justin have to pull him off. Justin knows that Sonny is telling the truth, but getting a jury to believe it is a different story.
Brady Is Done With Victor
Days of Our Lives’ Brady (Eric Martsolf) on the phone with Eve (Kassie DePaiva), he’s happy because she took him back. Brady goes in to see Victor (John Aniston) who offers him the CEO job at Titan. Brady refuses the job and tells Victor he’s done with him and Titan.
Brady tells Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) that Victor knew about Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) being in Mexico and did nothing. Victor tries to explain that Mateo (Andoni Gracia) threatened to kill Brady and Tate is she tried to save Chloe.
Brady tells Victor he is still marrying Eve, he’s not ever taking Theresa back. Victor tells Brady that he’s just mad at Theresa. Brady says Victor only needs him until he doesn’t and tosses him aside and he’s tossing Victor aside first. Brady doesn’t want CEO of Titan anymore.
Victor says someone needs to run the company, Brady says he wants the family to be compliant. Brady says he is taking Tate and leaving tomorrow. Victor tells Brady he will regret this when Eve turns on him. Victor and Maggie argue over Brady’s life and about Chloe.
Brady tells Maggie that he and Tate are going to the Salem Inn until they get something permanent. Brady says he and Eve are good together, he has made his choice and Victor nor Theresa will change that.
J.J. Invites Theresa To Stay With Him
Days of Our Lives’ J.J. (Casey Moss) wants to know how long Theresa (Jen Lilley) has been home. Theresa tells J.J. that Brady is with her sister. J.J. tells Theresa she gave up the right to have any say in Brady’s love life when she left him to go back to partying.
Theresa gets up to leave, JJ stops her saying he was just stating facts. Theresa tells J.J. she was saving their lives. J.J. knew something was up in the church that day, Theresa seemed tortured. Theresa explains how she had to make Brady believe she didn’t love him anymore.
Theresa was so close to having her family back until Chloe and Eve showed up. Theresa believes Brady hooking up with Eve is karma. J.J. believes Brady will eventually see the truth. Theresa tells J.J. that Brady is trying to cut her out of Tate’s life for good. J.J. tells Theresa that Brady is hurt.
Theresa realizes that she can’t just walk right back into Brady’s life even if she is the love of his life, he will figure it out in his own time. Theresa wants to know why J.J. is being so nice to her.
Theresa has no money to stay at a hotel, J.J. offers to let her stay with him. Theresa hugs J.J. and they discuss sleeping arrangements. Theresa believes Brady will come to his senses before long.
Ciara Won’t Forgive Tripp Or Claire
Days of Our Lives’ Ciara (Victoria Konefal) walks in on Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) and is totally furious. Claire tries to apologize but Ciara doesn’t want to hear it. Ciara wants to know why the hell Claire is there.
Tripp swears to Ciara that he didn’t sleep with Claire. Tripp stopped it because of his feelings for Ciara. Ciara believes Claire purposely set this up. Ciara believes this was to get even with her over the contest.

Ciara tells Tripp that she was coming to work things out with him, but now they are over for good. Tripp keeps trying to get the truth out of Ciara. Finally, with Claire’s urging Ciara tells Tripp that she couldn’t sleep with him because she was raped.
Ciara tells Tripp she was raped two years ago. Ciara sees pity and disgust in Tripp’s eyes, she can’t forgive him or Claire and storms out. Tripp goes after Ciara but can’t catch up with her. Tripp doesn’t blame Claire, this is all his fault.
Tripp tries to call Ciara to make things right but she won’t answer and takes off on the bike. Tripp is worried about what Ciara might do. We learn that Ciara has crashed her bike and is lying on the ground.
