Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings: Thia Megia Joins Cast

Days of Our Lives comings and goings indicate that a former reality television star will soon be making her way to Salem.

In fact, new reports indicate that American Idol alum Thia Megia will soon be making her debut on daytime television. Many fans remember Thia best from her performances on American Idol back in 2011.

And while Days of Our Lives has not said much about Thia’s new role (or when she will be making her debut), we do know that she will be playing a character by the name of Haley.

Of course, this isn’t Thia’s first role on television. She’s had a steady stream of work throughout the years and has appeared on shows such as Pop Music High, Tails of the Blue, Totally TV and A Scary Sleepover.

Thia is a Filipino-American singer from San Joaquin County, California. She finished in the top 11 of the tenth season of American Idol. She’s been working in the entertainment industry since she was about 13 years old and has made appearances on shows such as Showtime at the Apollo and Kid Star of Tomorrow back in 2008.

In addition, she also sang the national anthem at San Jose Giants, Stanford football and San Francisco 49ers football games. There’s no doubt that her fans can’t wait to see her on daytime television, too!Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on the NBC network. Check your local listings for times.
