Coronation Street Spoilers: Culprit of Liz’s Hit and Run Revealed

Coronation Street Spoilers: Culprit of Liz's Hit and Run RevealedLiz McDonald’s (Beverley Callard) plight on Christmas Day on Coronation Street must have been the talk of the town this holiday season. Being a victim of a hit and run must have caused Liz so many hassles, not to mention, the fact that she doesn’t know who the culprit was.

Coronation Street tease the revelation of who committed the crime—it could either be Johnny (Richard Hawley) or Jenny. (Sally Ann Matthews) Well, this speculation is based on the last Christmas Day special episode which saw Liz bumped by a car with Jenny Connor driving while drunk. Jenny could’ve gotten off her car had she not believed that Liz was alright. But she just ran off without looking back at all.

Unfortunate Liz ended up banging her head on the pavement and was rushed to the hospital. Thanks to her friend Eileen (Sue Cleaver) who saw her unconscious.

Previous episodes saw Jenny becoming paranoid over a possible rekindled love affair between Liz and Johnny, especially when she saw Johnny going out from Liz’s house one time; hence, the motive.

However, it’s Johnny who took the blame for Liz’s accident and was the one who surrendered to the police, other spoilers say.

Well, everyone knows Jenny is the real one to blame. But even if Jenny confesses, the incident could be a potential reason that they’ll lose the pub.

Johnny may be out of the picture when the incident happened but we can just imagine his guilt after all. Perhaps, he’s also thinking that going to prison is something he deserves.

On another note, Richard Hawley, who plays the role of Johnny, shared something we can look forward to on Coronation Street.

“Johnny wouldn’t cope well in prison, not from what he says. He’s not designed for prison. It would be really difficult. You’d sit there with all that stuff in your head,” Richard Hawley (Johnny) revealed in an interview.

Whether or not Jenny admits her mistake, what will Liz do?
