A Guide To The Many General Hospital Characters Of Michael Easton

A Guide To The Many General Hospital Characters Of Michael EastonSome fans are still confused about Michael Easton’s General Hospital characters. Here is a guide to the many faces of Michael Easton.

John McBain

Former Landview detective John McBain arrived in Port Charles in March 2012. McBain came to town to take Sonny (Maurice Benard) down for the death of Cole (Brandon Buddy) and Hope Thornhart (Shiloh Nelson). McBain believed that Sonny caused the accident that ran Cole’s car off the road causing the death of both passenger’s left inside.

Caleb Morley

Caleb Morley, former Port Charles character, appeared on General Hospital in 2013. Caleb kills Rafe Kovich’s (Jimmy Deshler) mother, Alison (Erin Hershey Presley). Following Rafe’s arrest for Alison’s murder, he points the finger at John McBain, a dead ringer for Caleb Morley. John tries to find out information about Caleb’s ring, and Caleb kills the professor John was going to meet. Caleb believes that Sam (Kelly Monaco) is his wife Livvie and he plans to turn her into a vampire as well.

Stephen Clay

General Hospital writers revealed that Caleb Morley was Stephen Clay’s vampire stage persona. As the story goes, Livvie died, and Caleb was distraught enough to end up in an institution after committing seven murders. Caleb/Stephen had vowed to reunite with Livvie no matter what it takes. John and Caleb fight in the Cassidine tunnels and Caleb/Stephen seemingly dies.

John pulls off the fake vampire teeth revealing Caleb as Stephen Clay. Afterward, the body is taken to the medical examiner where we see Caleb and the medical examiner have switched places. Caleb puts on his ring and walks away leaving the medical examiner on the examination table.

Silas Clay

After the lawsuit between Prospect Place and ABC filing in 2013, Michael needed a new character. John McBain left to return to Landview, and Caleb disappeared. Silas left home when he turned eighteen and never looked back. Sam went to Manhattan in search of Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) and ran into Silas Clay at the hospital. Sam thought she had found Stephen again, Silas revealed that they were brothers.

Sam tells Silas of Stephen crimes and about his son Rafe. Sam is surprised that Silas does not react to this information. Two days later, Silas shows up wanting to meet Rafe. Silas sues for and gets custody of Rafe. Silas also informs Sam that Danny (T.K. Weaver) is sick, later it is discovered that Danny has Leukemia. Silas treats Danny, and he pulls through. Sam and Silas later begin a relationship which ends when Silas’ wife, Nina, returns from the dead. Nina’s mother, Madeline, stabbed Silas in his apartment.

Hamilton Finn

General Hospital’s Finn originally came to town to help Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). Finn has fought both disease and drug addiction to keep his place at General Hospital. Finn is still in Port Charles and currently involved with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Finn’s other love interests in Port Charles include Hayden Barnes Rebecca Budig) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

Hopefully, this clears up the look-alikes vs. the relatives of Silas Clay and Michael Easton’s character history.
