The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Facing Consequences of Actions - Family Plan Hypocritical

Victor (Eric Braeden) didn’t expect his family to react as it did on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But now that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Vickie (Amelia Heinle) made a decision, consequences for Victor’s actions have been applied. They’ve decided to treat him like an outcast, but continue to act like a family in public. The ‘Moustache’ isn’t used to being in a weakened position, yet that’s exactly where he’s at right now.

Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) saw her grandfather lying near the hay just after Nick socked him with a right cross. Victor encouraged that action, provoked it some would say. The latest incredible event in Newman history occurred this week on Y&R.

Detractors of the ‘Great Man’ fall into various categories. Some are simply anti-man. They hate Victor because of his gender and have spit every possible sexist word at him for many years, therefore evidencing themselves as what they claim he is. Others see Braeden’s character as a personality type. They dislike his controlling nature, believing it matches others who have been in their lives. Another form of me-first projection.

Nikki’s background could be dragged out at this point. Instead, viewers should ask themselves if she’s prepared to give up everything; the money, access to power, and every element of her materially comfortable life? Apparently she’s not, which is why her slanted plan is to stay married to the man, while keeping him at bay in private.

How about Nick? That paragon of honesty who abandoned Sharon (Sharon Case) for Phyllis (then played by Michelle Stafford) all those years ago. He left his wife after Cassie (Camryn Grimes) died as the result of injuries suffered in a car accident. That was after Nick accused Daniel (Michael Graziadei) of causing the incident, which wasn’t true.

And then there’s Victor’s namesake, Vickie. She was trouble personified as a youth, when Heather Tom embodied the character. Her downward view of Billy (currently played by Jason Thompson) is also legend.

Yes, these three pure souls are deeply ungrateful and entitled. Instead of trying to help Victor, they want to shun him. Is he perfect? No. Just like this trio.

Imo the only thing that makes these three even close to as bad as Victor is that they know he is a criminal and keep excusing him! Doesn’t matter anyway, two weeks from now it will be back to same old crap! Nikki going off the rails at Victor and say “I am in charge ” now, is nothing new!
