The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday August 8: Tessa Gets Shocking Phone Call – Devon Is Honest with Mariah – Ashley Seeks Solution for Dina

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, August 8, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Noah (Robert Adamson) will discuss their expansion plans. At The Underground, Noah updates Nick on the connections he made in San Francisco. Nick admits that they were outbid on a few properties, but they promise they’re not giving up.

At the pool bar, Devon (Bryton James) wonders what’s wrong with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes). Tessa confesses that she’s battling anxiety about her upcoming recording session. Mariah suggests that she can stop by to cheer her on. Once they’re alone, Mariah reiterates that Tessa can lean on her for support. They share a close moment as they gaze at each other.

At another table, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) agree that they have their reasons for scheming. They vow to keep their Ben Hochman (Ben Hermes) plot under wraps. Elsewhere, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) talks to Neil (Kristoff St. John) about Dina (Marla Adams). She’s worried that selling Mergeron Enterprises caused her mom’s depression.

Ashley hopes Neil can give Dina a position, but he fears people would get the wrong idea about why she was there. Still, Neil is sorry about what Dina is dealing with. Ashley gets that it’s a tricky situation for Neil, so she heads out. Later, Graham (Max Shippee) bumps into Ashley and asks if Dina has been around. Ashley notices that Graham seems worried about his companion.

When Ash asks why Graham pushed Dina to sell Mergeron, he denies it. Graham maintains that Dina made that choice for herself. After Dina appears with shopping bags, they relay why they’re upset. After they offer an explanation, Ash offers to go shopping with Dina next time. Dina gets irritated with Ashley for trying to keep her busy.

Upstairs, Dina privately lashes out at Graham for making Ashley fret. They discuss Dina’s purchases and she admits she misses having a home to call her own. Graham reminds Dina that he’s with her for a reason and they embrace.

Back with Neil, Devon tells him about Mariah’s love declaration. He doesn’t know if he feels the same way yet, so Neil suggests that honesty is the best policy. When Devon tracks down Mariah later, he brings up what she said and notes that it’s a little soon for him. However, Devon insists that he’s committed to her. Mariah is OK with that and appreciates that he told her the truth.

At Brash and Sassy, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) bicker about Ben Hochman. She reminds him that she doesn’t grill him about his love life. Victoria would like Billy to respect her enough to do the same. Billy meets up with Phyllis and admits that something feels off about all this.

Later, Victoria speaks with Ben and objects to the flowers. Ben is perplexed since Jack actually sent them, but he plays along and hints that he can dial it down. They make plans for another date. At Jabot, Ashley and Jack debate what to do about Dina. They agree that giving her a project might be helpful. Jack thinks the less Dina sees of Graham, the better off she’ll be.

Back at The Underground, Tessa gets a major shock. Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) calls Tessa and is relieved when she picks up. Tessa apparently has a connection to Crystal. She tries to get details, but Crystal’s phone is yanked out of her hand. After the call cuts off, Noah approaches to check on Tessa.
