“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, May 22, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will have a special project for Scott (Daniel Hall). At Newman Enterprises, Scott is irritated when Victor asks him to find a suitable concert venue. Victor hopes to please Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) by letting her perform somewhere. Scott rants, but Victor settles him down by mentioning Nikki’s MS.

At Crimson Lights, Nick (Joshua Morrow) informs Sharon (Sharon Case) that he told Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) to go after Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Talk turns to the changes in Sharon’s life. They share some sweet moments as Nick praises Sharon’s work at the crisis hotline.
When Scott shows up, Nick learns about the Newman job. He hints that Scott should proceed with caution. Nick even offers a job as a bartender if things don’t work out. After Scott and Sharon take off, Nick bumps into Abby (Melissa Ordway). She brags about taking on more responsibility at Newman. Nick brings up Scott and how Victor will manipulate his new employee.
In California, Chelsea seeks info from a woman at Chloe’s former psychiatric facility. She poses as Chloe’s sister and acts like she wasn’t in the loop on the release.
Chelsea piles on the lies to get some details, but the woman stays tight-lipped. Finally, Chelsea bribes a little out of her. The woman suggests that a patient in need of more secure surroundings might head to a facility in Louisiana.
At home, Jack recalls the pain of his childhood. Across town, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) does the same after a chat with Neil (Kristoff St. John). He brings up how he had to face his complicated feelings for his mom. Neil thinks Ashley should try to work through the drama.
Jack arrives at Dina’s (Marla Adams) suite and they begin a conversation. He’s wary of her motives for reconnecting, so Dina asks if he wants her to leave Genoa City. Jack gets testy over Mergeron’s new deal. Dina points out that she’s looking for a clean slate with her kids. If nothing else, she’s hoping for tolerance. Jack snaps that he can’t hate somebody he doesn’t even know.
Later, Ashley has her chance to take on Dina. She lashes out over the TV interview, but Jack suggests Ash should calm down. Ashley feels like her brother is getting played. Jack doesn’t want to cling to all the heartache he’s faced, but he seems reluctant to get much closer to Dina.
At the ranch, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) thinks Nikki disapproves of her when they talk about Noah’s (Robert Adamson) bad breakup. Nikki smooths everything over. Victor calls Nikki over to Newman, so she asks Tessa to come along. Once they arrive, Victor gives Nikki the concert news. He thinks it can give MS patients hope for the future.
Nikki speaks with Victor alone and complains about his tactics. She promises nothing has changed for their relationship, but agrees to go along with the concert idea. Victor maintains that no one will ever love Nikki the way he does.
Back at Crimson Lights, Tessa spots Abby meeting with Zack (Ryan Ashton). She gets someone on the phone as she dashes off. Tessa notes that Zack didn’t see her and that’s for the best. She definitely doesn’t want to see this man from her past.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Scott (Daniel Hall) will continue to open up to Sharon. At the café in the park, Scott reveals that he worked on an international arms dealer case before he went to the Middle East. Sharon likes the fact that Scott trusts her. She gushes about his bravery and they lean in for a kiss.
It looks like love is blooming for Scott and Sharon. Y&R rumors hint that some issues should emerge down the road, but they’re on cloud nine for right now. Stay tuned for updates on their growing bond.
