The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Faith is Confused – Nick is To Blame

A confused parent like Nick (Joshua Morrow) believes that everything can be explained away on ‘The Young and the Restless’. As this inconsistent parental example has demonstrated, that premise is flat out wrong.

First things first, Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is 10 years old. As a child, her parents and the extended Newman family have served as the main influencers of her life. The Collins’ clan has been mostly missing during Faith’s life span, which is unfortunate. As a result, all who are familiar with the Newman name know that biological link put this little girl behind more eight balls, then in front of winning side pocket shots.

Before this feature proceeds, all Sharon (Sharon Case) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) detractors will be openly addressed. This scribe doesn’t deny that each woman has her faults. Sharon hasn’t always been the best mother and Chelsea is withholding information about Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) paternity. But choosing to center upon either of those women would allow the impact of Nick’s actions to be lessened.

Faith was raised in an environment where her father convinced himself that he couldn’t stay with her mother. Nick believed that Phyllis (played by Michelle Stafford and more recently, Gina Tognoni) was the woman he should be with and thus ‘Shick’ ended.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Faith is Confused – Nick is To Blame

Nick’s selfish choice to abandon Sharon made Faith’s family experience dysfunctional. Not different, not modern, or other cheeky rationalizations of behavior that place human beings on the same level as animals. Men and women have highly advanced brains and the power of free will. Both points can’t be rationally countered by anyone who purports to believe in science, by the way.

A functional family is led by adults. They sacrifice to stay together, rather than chasing other perceived mates. A real husband wouldn’t turn his back on a woman (Sharon) who lost her daughter (Cassie, Camryn Grimes) as a result of injuries she sustained in a car accident.

Cite chapter and verse about all that’s happened recently. When those side rants are finished and despite the truth that lies within those words, what Nick did to Sharon all those years ago is affecting Faith now. He’s the most to blame for what’s happening today.
