Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) are obviously gifted performers on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Devon (Bryton James) recognizes that. His reinvigorated interest in the music business can also enable both character’s abilities to be live streamed to the world beyond Genoa City this summer.

This guess seems too easy, but Devon seems likely to recognize the potential of an on-stage pairing between Tessa and Reed. The teacher and her student combine to produce a memorable hit song that’s viewed by millions around the world. Devon’s efforts will enable profit to be earned via downloading and connected promotional opportunities.
It’s natural that Tessa is hesitant to start a recording career. As of now the viewers can see that she’s uncertain if her abilities will lend themselves to a large audience. What fans don’t know is if her backstory also makes going public problematic.

Viewers haven’t been told what specifically happened between Zack (Ryan Ashton) and Tessa in the past. The default storyline would position Ashton’s character as the villain.
Daytime, as well as societal stereotypes should be countered at all times, instead of being perpetuated as truth. So why not have this apparent former couple’s history be non-physically dramatic? Yes, let’s hope to hear a different soapy song.
