Currently, there are social media rumors that suggest Michael Muhney might be coming back before Christmas as part of Genoa City’s long-awaited Christmas miracle. So far CBS has not made any comments about the rumors, nor have they said anything about recasting the role. Michael played Adam Newman while he was on the show from 2009 to 2014. During that time, there were a few reports that suggested there was friction between Michael and actor Eric Braeden. Some rumors suggested that Michael thought Eric was jealous of him and his acting ability. While it looks like the two have made amends, it’s unclear if Eric would support Michael’s return to the soap.

There’s no doubt that fans would be absolutely excited to see Michael Muhney on The Young and the Restless once again. As a matter of fact, many fans were thrilled when they recently saw him on an episode of ABC’s new medical drama, The Good Doctor. It’s safe to say that Michael’s career is back where it should be, and that’s on the right track.
