We last saw Dylan make his departure from Genoa City after the devastating news he learned about the secret that his wife, Sharon (Sharon Case) had been keeping from him for so many months. Since the baby bombshell, Dylan has decided to take up an assignment undercover busting a drug ring. The location is undisclosed and requires him to leave his family for a certain length of time. There is no word yet, how Burton’s scenes will air. Dylan may return in person then again we might only get phone scenes with Dylan checking in on Sharon or perhaps making contact with his family directly letting him know that he is doing okay.

‘The Young and the Restless’ viewers were somewhat puzzled when Dylan mysteriously disappeared leaving behind his personal belongings which was later explained.  Sharon’s daughter, Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) was worried when she found his wallet. But not to worry, it was clarified by Sharon that Dylan was working undercover and could not take any of his personal belongings with him. This assignment no doubt sounds very mysterious, dark and dangerous.
