Neighbours Spoilers: Paige And Jack’s Horror – Gabe’s Life On The Line

Neighbours Spoilers: Paige And Jack's Horror - Gabe's Life On The LineThe Neighbours season finale is not too far away and things are set to take a turn for the worse. Paige (Olympia Valance) and Jack (Andrew Morley) are again at the centre of a dramatic storyline that is set to be heart breaking for fans.

While the Christmas finale is always dramatic, the Neighbours writers have taken a dark twist by putting baby Gabe’s life on the line, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.

In the big finale episode of Neighbours 2017, spoilers indicate that Paige and Jack will face every parent’s worst nightmare as Gabe becomes seriously ill. Obviously concerned, Paige insists on taking him to the medical centre to get looked at by a doctor, but things get worse when his pram accidentally rolls into oncoming traffic.

Of course, she rushes out to get the pram and saves it just in time, feeling relieved until things get much, much worse. Upon looking into the pram Paige sees that Gabe has been taken and driven off at speed by a kidnapper.

This is a major cliff hanger for the soap – one which will surely leave fans in despair over the Christmas period. For this reason, Neighbours producer Jason Herbison declared, ‘The finale week for 2017 will definitely flex the emotions.’ He continued, saying, ‘There’s always a lot of excitement around our end-of-year finale – we want to end with something pretty spectacular visually.’

For this reason, the scenes were shot on location and filmed in a way that will make viewing even more intense. He explained, ‘Paige’s scenes were shot off site and involved a lot of running with cameras to create a sense of urgency – plus the odd police car and emergency vehicle which our first episode for 2018 will open with,’ he said. ‘And there is a lot of colour and movement with our couple’s event – our costume and art department stepped up to the plate once again.’

It’s certainly going to be a gripping yet distressing storyline, which really sets the pace for the return of Neighbours in January next year. But will Gabe be okay? We are really not sure, as Jason reveals, ‘Paige and Jack’s situation is dire, and could definitely have a life and death outcome.’
