General Hospital Recap Wednesday May 24: Charlotte Activates Chimera – Sonny Learns Shocking Truth – Valentin Confesses To Anna

Wednesday’s episode of General Hospital begins with Sonny (Maurice Benard) arriving to the Nurses Ball. Ava (Maura West) sees Sonny and tells Scott (Kin Shriner) she wants to leave. Ava starts to walk out but Sonny stops her. Sonny takes Ava to the hallway and says he’s has a big problem with what she did to Morgan.

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) walks up. Scott walks up and tells Ava he has drinks for them and takes her back inside. Sonny tells Dante he’s upset Ava made a donation in Morgan’s name just to make herself look good.

Sonny isn’t going to stop until he finds out what happened to Morgan. Dante tells Sonny about Ava and Lucy being at the Floating Rib when the medicine bottles were found. Dante tells Sonny to stay away from Ava.

Anna (Finola Hughes) approaches Andre (Anthony Montgomery) but he ignores her. Anna tries to explain it was Alex that offended him. Anna leaves. Andre calls the lab to get the test results on the residue in Morgan’s pill bottle.

Andre tells Sonny the test results show there was a placebo in Morgan’s medicine bottle and that explains Morgan’s behavior. Sonny says someone set Morgan up. Sonny tells Carly (Laura Wright) he has answers about Morgan’s death.

Scott is reassuring Ava that Sonny will never find out what she did with Morgan’s medicines. Ava says she was only protecting Kiki and didn’t mean for anything bad to happen to Morgan.

Sam (Kelly Monaco) hands Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) flowers and wishes her good luck on her performace. Lucy (Lynn Herring) rushes Sam out of the dressing room.

Anna  asks Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) who has the Chimera. He sees Nina (Michelle Stafford) across the room hugging Curtis (Donnell Turner).

Jake (Hudson West) tells Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) the Chimera magic comes at the end of the show. Charlotte starts to touch the Chimera but Jake stops her. He’s the only one that knows how to do that magic trick.

Kiki (Hayley Erin) is in Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) hospital room. Nelle is saying Michael’s name. Kiki calls Michael (Chad Duell) and tells him Nelle could use a friend. Michael arrives to Nelle’s room. Nelle is asleep. Michael pulls a chair closer to her bedside. Joss calls Michael to tell him it’s time for her solo. She places her phone down with speaker on so Michael and Nelle can listen to her sing. Nelle wakes up and Michael tells her he’s there for anything she needs.

Valentin asks Nina if she’s going to ignore him all night. Curtis tells Valentin he’d be more comfortable at his own table. Valentin won’t leave without Nina. Nina tells Valentn she has nothing to say to him. Valentin leaves and approaches Lucy in the dressing room. He wants to increase his donation in exchange so he can perform on stage.

Lucy announces to the audience that Valentin will be performing instead of Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).Valentin plays the piano as he sings to Nina. Valentin walks off stage when once he finishes the song. Anna follows him. Nina stands up to follow Anna but Curtis stops her. Anna asks Valentin who he sold the Chimera to. Valentin finally says he sold it to Helena.

Jason (Billy Miller) shows Sam the Chimera necklace. Jason assumes it belongs to Jake. Jason asks Liz (Rebecca Herbst) if the necklace belongs to Jake. Jake walks up and asks if they’re talking about him. Jason asks if the necklace belongs to Jake. Jake shrugs his shoulders and tells Liz he doesn’t feel good. Jake is worried something bad will happen. Liz reassures him and they all agree no magic show. Jason walks Sam to the hallway. Sam leaves. Griffin (Matt Cohen) walks up and asks Jason why he has Anna’s necklace.

Charlotte tells Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) that Jake isn’t doing the magic show and maybe they could it. They open the magic kit. Charlotte opens the Chimera and a blue light comes one.
