Emmerdale Spoilers: Rhona’s Wedding Night Will Haunt Viewers – Pierce’s Rape Rampage, Will He Kill Vanessa Too?

The detestable Pierce has been shocking viewers for weeks with his controlling and abusive behaviour towards Rhona, his fiancée. But fans will be horrified to find out that on top of his verbal abuse, Emmerdale spoilers indicate that Pierce will rape Rhona.

The couple are set to be married and the attack will take place on their wedding night. They are all smiles during the small ceremony but things will turn south very quickly for Rhona. We have seen Rhona struggle constantly with the controlling nature of Pierce, the Vet has been tearing her hair out knowing it’s wrong, but not being able to leave the situation.

Rhona has ignored her best friend’s advice to leave the abuser several times over but will she finally realise that Vanessa was right all along and that Pierce was right? The rape is set to be emotional and traumatic for viewers and may raise questions important questions for many women in Rhona’s position. Not only the initial attack but the aftermath.

Poor Rhona will discover her new husband’s nature and be legally tied to the man. Will she be able to contact the police or will she hide the abuse as she still loves Pierce?

The awful man will try to spin lies to convince his wife that he did nothing wrong and that they simply argued. Rhona like many victims is going to go through a long process of confusion and shame, and with Pierce isolating all of her friends she has no one to turn to.

Will Pierce stop here? There have of course been rumours he will go even further with the murder of Rhona’s best friend Vanessa. Will his abuse become regular? There is no doubt his controlling nature will not dissipate will he become physically violent as well?
