Both of James Willmott-Brown’s (William Boyd) brainwashed kids finally turn against him on EastEnders, but will the conman have the last laugh on them?
Fi (Lisa Faulkner) and Josh (Eddie Eyre) have been dad’s faithful minions up until now but Fi will look to stop the madness next week when she sees the bad guy in a new light.
In particular Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) has been working on her boyfriend to pry him away from the toxic family business and next week she’ll take desperate measures to stop James.
Will it be enough to convince Fi to step aside and start a new life away from Walford and the nastiness surrounding the takeover of Albert Square?

Explosive EastEnders spoilers reveal that Fi will indeed come to her senses after Josh makes his own move. But not before Fi and dear old dad prepare to give a celebratory press conference at the Community Centre.
Alas, while the two smile at the cameras, Josh goes to dad’s office and tries hacking into his computer. When Fi and dad prepare to return to the office, Josh is still there, necessitating some quick moves on Lauren’s part.
She ends up chaining herself to the center’s doors; that’s the way to take one for the team, Lauren!
Seeing Lauren’s dedication to the cause, combined with Josh’s insistent pleas, Fi finally starts to doubt what she’s been up to in the Square. At one point Fi will confront James, something he doesn’t like at all.

Later Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) of all people will reach out to Fi. Up to this point Fi has only listened to James’ version of the events that happened between him and Kathy, but perhaps now she is starting to have cracks in her loyalty?
Next week Fi and Kathy will have a heart to heart talk about what really happened all those years ago. Will Kathy’s truth be enough to turn Fi against her father?
