News about Ronnie’s New Year’s Day fate left him an unstable wreck in last night’s episode. Will his raw anger continue to get the best of him, leading to even more tragic consequences?




With last night’s reveal of what really caused the young blonde’s death, Jack was left inconsolable.  Viewers, along with Jack, were stunned to learn that deceased Roxy may be culpable in her sister’s early demise.

At a coroner’s hearing into the dramatic dual deaths that occurred on the eve of Jack and Ronnie’s wedding, it was revealed that the sisters died together, but in different ways. While Ronnie drowned in the hotel swimming pool, Roxy suffered a heart attack.

But test results revealed that Roxy was under the influence of drugs at the time of her premature death. In conclusion, the court declared that the Mitchell siblings died due to, “misadventure.”

Upon hearing the tragic news, inconsolable Jack refused to buy that the deaths were accidental, and declared war on Roxy’s memory.

His anger spilled over when he returned home to Albert Square. Amy, his daughter with Roxy, was being looked after by Ronnie and Roxy’s mother.

The little girl immediately showed her dad what she and Grandma Glenda had been up to while he was away being told the awful news about Ronnie: her young tender ears were now pierced!

This was the last straw for protective father Jack, who raged at his mother-in-law over her questionable judgement in letting Amy pierce her ears.

Glenda was clueless but compliant as Jack vented his simmering anger and grief on her, demanding that she leave his house at once.

How far will Jack go to avenge Ronnie’s death? He blames insidious Roxy for his bride’s demise, but without the accused young woman around for Jack to hassle, who or what will he vent his rage on?
