Bryan Craig (Morgan, General Hospital)

Craig delivered the goods as a young man suffering from the effects of having his bipolar medication tampered with. The distress and helplessness he conveyed was heartbreaking, and Morgan’s death has yielded amazing storylines for multiple actors. Does his departure from the show make him a sentimental favorite?

Pierson Fodé (Thomas, The Bold and the Beautiful)

Thomas was dealt a raw deal when his dad and baby mama lied to him about his paternity status. When he finally learned the truth, the new dad fought for his paternal rights, and Fodé showed us the tender side of the previously happy-go-lucky playboy. Will his fierce performance as a loving dad win him the Emmy?

James Lastovic (Joey, Days of Our Lives)

As a relative newbie Lastovic was given heavy story to carry. Joey got caught up in an older woman’s deception, then killed her. He followed that up by joining a cult, getting his girlfriend pregnant and having a police shootout. Does he deserve to leave as an Emmy winner?

Tequan Richmond (TJ, General Hospital)

Richmond was peripherally involved in the Morgan Corinthos death storyline, and he floated in and out of scenes with his mom the police commissioner and his on-and-off girlfriend Molly. Was his presence onscreen powerful enough to make you pull the lever to cast an Emmy vote for him?

Anthony Turpel (R.J., The Bold and the Beautiful)

R.J. returned to L.A. and promptly set about being the bridge between Bridge. In the past year Turpel’s performance was mostly about establishing the character and settling R.J. into the existing storylines. Does he earn your nod for the Emmy?
