Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Lucas Furious About ‘Paulson’ Wedding, Lashes Out at Sonny

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for the week of September 11 reveal that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will continue drinking. In an alcohol-fueled rage, he lashes out at Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith.) He is furious about the “Paulson” wedding and makes a scene in front of other people.

Lucas is going down a dark path and things will only get worse. He didn’t have just one incident that triggered his relapse, but several. This includes him finding out that Sonny and Paul Narita (Christopher) are getting married.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that Lucas will lash out at Sonny. He does it in front of Paul, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller.) Bryan Dattilo spoke to Soap Opera Digest and explained why Lucas is so upset.

“I think Lucas’ problem with Sonny is that he’s moving on. So, he lets Sonny have it. He questions how Sonny could have loved Will (Chandler Massey) if he’s already making plans to marry someone else. Lucas also doesn’t think that Sonny ever accepted his relationship with Adrienne (Judi Evans.)”

It has been a long time since Will died. It was difficult for Sonny and he grieved for a long time. Even after he started dating Paul, he still questioned Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) about the situation. He always felt that he was betraying Will.

While some alcoholics feed their addiction privately, Lucas is being really open about it. Dattilo believes that Lucas is crying out for attention. He wants somebody to baby him, but he is getting the opposite response.

The only person that seems to be taking it easy with him is Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin.) This is probably why he called her for help after finding Anjelica Deveraux’s (Morgan Fairchild) dead body.

Unfortunately, Sonny won’t be the only person that Lucas lashes out at this week. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal he will have a confrontation with Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus.) He will want to take Ari, but it is clear he is drunk and Gabi won’t let him.

“Lucas isn’t seeing that it would be a bad thing to watch his granddaughter in the state that he’s in. He’s totally in the dark about his problem, and how he appears to other people.”

Fans are hoping that when Lucas sees Will, it will snap him back to sobriety. That might not happen. It was revealed that he will continue going downhill.

There is a theory that Lucas tries to tell others that Will is alive. However, they might not believe him, thinking he is hallucinating from the alcohol.

At some point, Will makes his presence known to others. It was hinted that his resurrection would create drama between Paul and Sonny.
