Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Abe Is Arrested, Scandal Rocks Salem – Claire Freaks Over News – JJ Rips Into Raines

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for Wednesday, August 16, tease that big trouble is headed Abe’s (James Reynolds) way. Eli (Lamon Archey) will give Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) updates on Dario’s (Jordi Vilasuso) case. He’ll believe he’s identified Dario’s partner, but they won’t like the results of his investigation.

Eli will insist that Abe and Dario teamed up in the counterfeit money ring. Rafe and Hope won’t want to accept it, but Eli will show them substantial proof. He’ll contend that he just doesn’t see any other explanation. After they take a moment to wrap their heads around all of this, Hope and Rafe will decide that they agree.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that Abe is in for a real shock. When he sees Rafe and Hope coming for him, Abe may be alarmed. The looks on their faces should tell him something’s up. Once he’s placed under arrest, Abe will have a tough fight ahead of him. Since Abe is the mayor, he’ll worry about the scandal this will cause.

Of course, he’ll be even more concerned about Theo (Kyler Pettis). Abe won’t want to leave his son without a parent. If Abe goes to prison, that’s exactly what will happen. The good news is Abe will get off the hook eventually. A twist in the case is brewing and it should change the game.

In the meantime, Claire’s (Olivia Rose Keegan) jaw will drop due to a picture on her tablet. Will she see Abe along with a story about the charges he’s facing? If so, Claire will definitely reach out to Theo. She’ll want to make sure he’s OK as this crisis hits.

Other “Days” spoilers say Joey (James Lastovic) won’t listen to Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) desperate plea. She’ll urge Joey to think of his future and back out of his confession plan. Unfortunately, DOOL fans know Joey can’t do that. His guilt is consuming him and coming clean is the only way he can break free.

At the police station, JJ (Casey Moss) will corner Commissioner Raines (Aaron D. Spears) for a tense chat. After Lani (Sal Stowers) fills her beau in, “Days” spoilers say JJ will rip into Raines for how he treated her. He’ll argue that Raines was wrong to put Lani in an awkward position.
