Celebrity Big Brother UK: The Latest Happenings

Celebrity Big Brother UK: The Latest HappeningsThe housemates have been in the house for a few nights now and all seems to be going well. As usual, the celebs are trying to maintain their outside persona’s in the first week. But the start of the drama is coming in full force. Marissa Jade may be about to start conflict with Sarah Harding after last night’s talent show.

Sarah Hardy who is most famous as a singer from Girls Aloud has been under fire since last night’s episode when she sang one of her old songs “The Promise” with her housemate Amelia.

It seems that the singer was rusty and didn’t quite live up to expectations. She was harshly compared to professional singer Amelia Lily who sang the song next to Sarah with practically no mistakes. Amelia came third on the UK X-factor and has maintained a singing career ever since. Whilst Sarah has been focusing on acting roles.

It was then Marissa who told Sarah just what a bad job she’d done. She said, “Sarah we heard you were a singer, but if you were the sixth member of the spice girls, you’d be unseasoned spice.” A harsh comment from the Mob Wives star, which is likely to start tension between the two women. The no nonsense lady did not seem to care is she had hurt the Girls Aloud stars feelings but will this come back to haunt her in the future? As it is often the case that mean-spirited house mates get nominated first.

It most certainly hurt Sarah as we saw her later on crying in the diary room, the comments made about her singing bringing up memories of her past when she was constantly in the press. She told Big Brother that she has thick skin and won’t be broken by criticism but she also cried over the incident.
