Who Will Win The 2016 Emmy For Outstanding Supporting Actor? VOTE!The official 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominees were announced this month on CBS’s ‘The Talk.’ Several actors sat attentively as they awaited the announcement to see if their name would be called. While a number of actors were pre-nominated, only five made the cut in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category.

General Hospital’s Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) and Sean Blakemore (Shawn) were some among the list. These two actors did phenomenal work throughout last year hence they were selected. Shawn was arrested on the assumption that he shot Hayden (Rebecca Budig). While in prison, he learned the truth that TJ (Tequan Richmond) is his son. The relevation was an intense scene which allowed Blakemore to deliver Emmy worthy material. Zamprogna could also walk away the winner, having played Dante betraying his wife and dealing with the outcome of it. Zamprogna for another year delivered flawless scenes, do you think he will win?

From ‘The Young and the Restless’ Bryton James playing the role of Devon, aimed really high and delivered. Devon betrayed his father stealing Hilary (Mishael Morgan) from him. Last year we saw Devon worried about his new wife Hilary, who went missing. Devon’s outrage with who kidnapped his wife after finding out, was on point. His work was superb, so if he wins, it will not be a shock. Steve Burton plays newly hired GCPD cop Dylan McAvoy, and is another person nominee in this category. Dylan was tied in to so many stories, the many that allowed this nomination. His awesome work is deserving of an Emmy.

B&B‘s Jacob Young with his portrayal of Rick Forrester landed him a member of this category as well. Rick had probably the most challenging story in Daytime history. Rick learned of his to be wife Maya’s (Karla Mosley) real identity and stuck with her nonetheless. Young’s delivery of a sympathetic fiance was super good.
