‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday July 6: Victor Holds Gun On Ian, Paul Arrives Arrests Both – Phyllis Turns to Jack, Billy Disheartened

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, July 6, tease that Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) and Summer (Hunter King) will make love. In a suite, they finish up their romantic encounter and Summer picks up her phone. She’s stunned by the messages about Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) kidnapping and Victor’s (Eric Braeden) injuries.

At the hospital, the guard refuses to let Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) see Meredith (Alicia Coppola). Dylan (Steve Burton) and Paul (Doug Davidson) arrive to question Meredith about Victor’s disappearance. She plays dumb, but Dylan eventually pries a little info out of her.

Paul and Dylan come back out to give everyone updates on Nikki’s location. Summer and Luca rush in the waiting area. Dylan says Ian (Ray Wise) is keeping Nikki at the cabin and they’re headed over there right now. Summer freaks out since Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is staying there, too. Victoria tries to call Jack (Peter Bergman), but she can’t get in touch. Luca and Summer exit to track Jack down.

Nick and Victoria finally get a chance to meet with Meredith. They wonder why Meredith is still on Victor’s side. He called her a liar on the stand. Meredith admits that she loves Victor, but she can tell he still has feelings for Nikki. She hints that Victor’s heart doesn’t have room for two women.

At the cabin, Victor is ready to make a deal. He tries to calm Ian down so they can get right to it. Victor gets on his banking website, but won’t make the transfer until Ian releases a hostage. Ian lets Phyllis go, but she insists she’s not leaving unless Nikki has her freedom as well. Ian eventually relents.

Nikki pauses as she leaves and looks at Victor longingly. She runs out with Phyllis and Victor punches his info in on the computer. He deliberately enters the wrong password and warns Ian that it’s tipped the police off to their location. Ian suggests that Victor isn’t sure how his plan ends. He gives Victor his gun and starts teasing him about his love for Nikki. Victor insists that Ian is his ticket out of prison.

Meanwhile, Nikki watches Victor and Ian through the window. When Dylan and Paul show up, they assess the situation and burst in. Victor puts down the weapon and Ian is apprehended. Dylan hugs Nikki and she turns her attention to Victor. She expresses her gratitude and Paul leads Victor out.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Jack and Billy (Jason Thompson) will discuss the Victor situation. At the athletic club, the Abbott brothers fear Victor’s plans will go awry. Talk turns to Phyllis and Billy gets nervous. Jack hints that he knows what’s up. He mentions the Brash and Sassy loans. Jack thinks they’ll always have arguments, but they can get past them.

Summer and Luca arrive with the news about Phyllis being taken, hostage. Billy and Jack are about to dart off when Phyllis appears. She embraces Jack and Billy looks disheartened. Luca tells Summer he’s sorry if he distracted her earlier. He wants Summer to know that he’s on her team.

Will the trust between Luca and Summer continue to crumble? Time will tell, but Luca definitely has a secret or two. Y&R rumors indicate that more strife is headed in this couple’s direction. Stick with the CBS soap to see the drama ahead.
