‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday January 27: Sage Committed, Adam Rages – Ashley Kisses Dr Neville – Dr Anderson Opens Up To Nick

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, January 27, tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam (Justin Hartley) will wake up happy in the penthouse. As they chat about Dylan (Steve Burton) being a father, Sharon (Sharon Case) opens up to her hubby at home. When Sharon worries about Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) instability, Dylan says he’ll protect their family.

At the police station, Sage hugs Nick (Joshua Morrow) and he asks what she was thinking. Sage confesses that getting arrested wasn’t part of the plan and she’s sorry she went too far. Nick thinks it might actually help their efforts to learn more about Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush). He can continue cozying up to her.

Nick calls Dr. Anderson to the station just before Dylan arrives. Once Dr. Anderson comes in, she says that Sage needs to be committed to the psych ward at the hospital. Nick agrees and signs some papers. When Adam and Chelsea arrive, Sage gripes about being committed. Adam defends Sage and starts to get physical with Nick. Dylan separates them and Adam stomps off.

At Crimson Lights, Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) have a conversation with Max (Jared Breeze). He seems to have had fun skating with them. While Max gets a cup of hot chocolate, Abby and Stitch discuss the positive changes they’re seeing in Max’s attitude. They’re hopeful that Max is coming around.

Max comes back and wants to have a snowball fight – without Abby. Stitch tells Max he should apologize. When Stitch gets called to the hospital, Abby talks Max into seeing a movie. After Stitch is gone, Max says he doesn’t need a babysitter. Abby makes it clear that Max isn’t getting rid of her.
At Jabot, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) talks to Simon (Michael E. Knight) about Billy’s (Jason Thompson) progress. She worries about what she would put her family through if the treatment doesn’t work. Ashley asks Simon to end her life if their plan doesn’t succeed. Simon is outraged by the idea. It’s illegal and he’s only focused on saving Ashley.

During a treatment session, Ashley dreams about Stitch declaring his love for her in the fire. When Ashley awakens, Simon mentions Ashley’s feelings for Stitch and wonders if all of that is really in the past. Abby shows up with Max and hands him off to Simon for a lab tour.

Ashley listens to Abby’s fears about her marriage. It might be over if Abby can’t get through to Max. Ashley assures Abby that things will get better. They catch up with Max, who’s happily experimenting with Simon. Once Abby and Max depart, Simon gives Ashley the news that her treatment is working. Ashley is thrilled and gives Simon a big kiss.

At the hospital, Nick gives Sharon updates on Sage being committed. A few moments later, Nick goes into Sage’s room. He’s concerned that they might be getting in too deep. Sage remains confident in their plot. After Nick leaves to get some coffee with Dr. Anderson, Adam and Chelsea stop by to visit Sage. She tells them Dr. Anderson is to blame for everything.

After Chelsea leaves the room, Adam starts ranting. He wants to help Sage get out of there. Sage confesses that Nick is protecting her, but she’s moved by Adam’s concern. Later, Adam tells Chelsea that this is all Nick’s fault.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Nick and Sage’s scheme will start to work. At Crimson Lights, Dr. Anderson begins to open up. Dr. Anderson tells Nick that she can relate to Sage’s experience. She knows what it’s like to lose something you desperately wanted and have your dreams dashed. Nick presses Dr. Anderson to elaborate, but she rushes off.

At the athletic club, Stitch tells Dylan that things are improving with Abby and Max. Dylan mentions that he’s a detective now and Sharon isn’t too pleased. He’s worried about this leading her down a bad road. Stitch thinks everything will be OK eventually.

When Abby appears with Max, Stitch learns that she took him to the lab. He insists that he doesn’t trust Dr. Neville. Stitch rips into Abby for not keeping him in the loop on what she was doing.
Meanwhile, Dylan heads home and greets Sharon. She brings up Nick and Sage’s ordeal. They talk about how thankful they are for Sully. Y&R rumors hint that this couple could be in for a rough time once the truth comes out. Stick with the CBS soap to see if they can weather the storm.
