Well, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) has done it again on ‘The Young and the Restless’, or so her detractors are screaming. But it can be argued that Devon’s (Bryton James) car accident was self-inflicted. Hilary’s beauty has blinded him which is something various viewers surely have experience with in their own lives.
Oh, that killer smile first turned your head. And then, she snatched your soul within the next instant. Devon, Devon, Devon, if this incident doesn’t teach you to control yourself then nothing will. Yes, nothing will my man.
Of course, Neil (Kristoff St. John) can relate to his adopted son’s plight. He fell so hard for Ann Turner (Hilary’s birth name, if newer viewers didn’t know), that he was blind to her romance with his son. Sorry for that play on words readers, but it fit this she-wolf’s actions.

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) flipped the script on Hilary. Then all Hades broke loose inside the Top of the Tower during the Abbott-Winters Foundation charity benefit party that was held on New Year’s Eve. Devon confronted his wife. Surprisingly, Hilary admitted to having literally pulled the rug out from under Mariah when she was hosting Chelsea 2.0’s fashion line live on GC Buzz.
Devon’s realization that he’d misread his wife (again) made him feel like he’d been used and he had. So, this wrecked soul descended Newman Towers in a huff, took out the keys to the sports car he won in a bid and sped off into the stormy night. Adding dark before stormy within that last sentence would have been too much.
Meanwhile, Hilary was back in the penthouse that her husband recently purchased for her, crying her eyes out as fireworks were seen, heard and felt across Genoa City. To be exact, Devon purchased the entire building she was in. Squandering more of Katherine’s (Jeanne Cooper) money is something that must be driving the Duchess mad as she surely sits on her cloud in Heaven, or at least at a point that’s half-way there.

Later in the episode, after his speedometer was shown racing toward 150 miles per hour, Mr. Hamilton crashed as remembrances of Hilary’s many actions and words danced in his head. Viewers saw what happened when a perceived loved one felt; he crashed hard!

They did a big build-up on how fast the car could go, but is it even remotely possible that you can live through a crash on a snowy road going 150 miles an hour? This is beyond belief.
Y&R needs one mean person to hate n that is Hilary. I wished Y&R would get rid of Lily because she has certainly let her role go beyond her head. Replace her n Hunter King. Bring back Michael K for Ashley. Ravi n Mariah needs to be together or either get rid of him. I really hate that Y&R only has one AfrianAmerican family. Bring Leslie n her husband on, we need a new Doctor.
