'The Young and the Restless' Spoilers: An Open Plea Offered To Sharon – Opportunity Always Awaits

Sharon (Sharon Case) thanked Christine (Lauralee Bell) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. She offered her gratitude to Genoa City’s District Attorney for not having pressed charges against her for the Sully-is-Christian (Jamie and Alister Tobias) scandal. Now, as Thanksgiving week passes, Sharon must use this opportunity to reshape her life.

Case is a great actor, in this scribe’s opinion. There is a certain segment of Y&R fans who disagree with this assessment. Everyone’s view of reality is respected, as all soap opera fans should be friends at this point in the genre’s history. With that said, let’s challenge the Sharon character directly.

Sharon – Stop deceiving everyone, including yourself. There are consequences for actions in life and your behavior has created many of them. Using an innocent boy, withholding the truth about his paternity from Sage (Kelly Sullivan), Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Dylan (Steve Burton), along with emotionally blackmailing Mariah (Camryn Grimes) was wrong. But now it’s time to move forward.

Yes, redemption is a goal that can be reached. It will take time, but you have survived many challenges in life that would have toppled lesser souls. Among them: Matt Clark’s (Eddie Cibrian) crime, Cassie’s (also Grimes) death and Nick’s embrace of Phyllis (then played by Michelle Stafford). Noah (Robert Adamson) barely realized the world and Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) was stolen at birth.

But Matt was handled. Cassie’s death became a source of strength and eventually her unknown twin sister came into your life. Nick has remained a good parent to your children and recently offered compassion in response to betrayed trust. Noah developed into a quality individual. Faith was returned and, regarding current circumstances, will come back home again once some time passes.

Tapping those reserves of inner strength isn’t easy, especially when many people want to forgot what was overcome in the past. But you proved it was possible on so many occasions through the years. And, you know that mental health issues are manageable.

Don’t rebound into another relationship. Stand on your own, initially. Time may bring a new man into your life, or not. But, most importantly, remember your children. For your future example will show them that redemption is always possible. And the legacy of your life hasn’t ended, it’s still evolving as it is for us all.

I agree..Sharon Case is a good actress. We can’t see how good anymore because of the crap the writers keep throwing at her. One thing I look forward to with the new regime is they are going to work on Sharon!

Bravo! Specially to remaining alone for awhile , standing for herself & her children . She has wealth . So focusing on her children rather than her usual needy way of having a man to please at all cost. Hoping the new writers will take you there. Chuck Pratt has a dismal way of portraying women. S peak up for your character! ?????✌?️❤️️
