‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers: Adam Sells His Soul To Save His Life – Will He Regret It?

There may be a shift in power in Genoa City. “Young And The Restless” Victor (Eric Braeden) is back in charge. He may have a plan that would help him get the control that he has been seeking since he was in prison. One way he’s going to be back in charge is by using his son Adam (Justin Hartley). Of course, the scheming Victor is willing to help out his troubled son. Victor wants something in return for helping out Adam.

Y&R fans know that Victor set Adam up by making it seem like he was a killer. Victor made it seem as if Adam killed Constance. Adam thought he had proof that Victor set him up, but that backfired on him when Ian (Ray Wise) turned on him. Adam has to do what he can to make sure that he doesn’t go back to jail so that means he has to sell his soul in order to prevent that from happening. He does that by turning to Victor for help.

The cunning Victor refuses to confess to framing his son, but he does have something else in mind. Victor will help Adam clear his name, but he has to do things his way in order to get his help. Adam must agree to do what Victor wants in order for him to help him avoid going to prison. If Adam is willing to agree to what Victor wants, he will frame someone else for the murder. Victor will make sure that the police find new evidence that will let Adam off the hook for the crime. Adam wouldn’t have to go to prison at all if he agrees to the deal.

Victor’s deal for Adam is that he has to have his back. Adam has to stand by Victor’s side at the company. If Adam says yes to the deal, Victor will stop at nothing to make sure that he will be cleared of the charges against him. Victor wants to make sure he’s aware of everything that Adam is doing so he wants him at the company. Adam is the most like him so he would run the company the same way he would.

Adam’s choices are limited. He would have to work for his father or spend his life in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Adam knows that Victor is a powerful man even behind bars so he doesn’t really have a choice. Adam has to agree to his terms to save his life. Will Adam end up regretting that decision?
