‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Dylan Won’t Let Victor Go – Gut Instinct Pushes Storyline

Dylan (Steve Burton) still believes that Victor (Eric Braeden) is guilty on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Even though Paul (Doug Davidson) told him to let it go and the ‘Moustache’ filed a restraining order, Dylan hasn’t given up the goat. He’s determined to prove that Victor was involved with Adam’s (formerly played by Justin Hartley) frame, escape and possibly, his (apparent) death.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) naturally affects Dylan’s feelings on Y&R. Learning late in life that she was his biological mother (along with the fact that Paul was his biological father) was a lot to comprehend. Dylan bonded with his parents and is particularly protective of his mother, especially where Victor is concerned. Both of Nikki’s loves haven’t gotten along well. So, it follows that Dylan won’t let this bone go.

Adam was framed by Victor, who used Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) as his accomplice. But, Dylan hasn’t been able to locate solid evidence in that regard. On top of that, he also hasn’t proven to any degree that Victor orchestrated Adam’s escape from Walworth. He’s less certain that the ‘Black Knight’ actually killed his own son. However, he remains unwilling to let this apparent criminal escape whatever measure of justice he does deserve to receive.

A lack of hard evidence meant that the Genoa City Police Department had to officially drop this entire investigation. But, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) told Dylan at Faith’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) birthday party something interesting about Chloe. She said that the timing of ‘Khloe’s’ revival seemed suspicious, as prior to a month ago Chloe claimed that she had no feelings for Kevin (Greg Rikaart). Her partial implication is that something unexplained cause Chloe to bond with her former ex-husband.

Dylan then saw Chloe and Victor chatting. He approached them and said that he hoped no one would be arrested at the party. Playing that off as a reference to the restraining order Victor field against him, Dylan agreed to shake his step-father’s hand.

But, no truce is at hand. Instead, Dylan became even more convinced that Victor was involved in illegal dealings. So, he’ll continue to pursue the truth by looking more closely at this apparent Chloe connection.
